Sohal Medical Goup is dedicated to quality women's healthcare. All care is provided directly by a board-eligible physician, Jeetinder Sohal, MD/ObGYN providing you with the ultimate in quality care. Our ServiceThe practice is devoted to obstetrics and gynecology, including infertility, endocrinology, minimally invasive surgery and family planning. We are actively involved in the management of high-risk obstetrics as well as normal pregnancy. AppointmentsYou may schedule an appointment by calling 530-751-7350 during office hours: M-F 9:00a-500p. If you find it necessary to cancel an appointment, please call far enough in advance so that we may use the time for another patient. Telephone CallsOur number is 530-751-7350, and will be answered by office personnel during regular work hours: M-F 9:00a-5:00p. Please feel free to call Dr. Sohal for any of your medical needs. We do try to answer and return your calls promptly. If you feel that your medical problem is of an urgent nature, do emphasize this fact to the receptionist and/or nursing staff. For after hour's emergency, please call 911. Normal lab results may be obtained by phone from the nursing staff; any abnormal findings will be called to you by either Dr. Sohal or the nursing staff. Please place all non-emergency calls during office hours, for it is at this time that we have access to your medical records. EmergenciesEmergencies will always receive priority regardless of the day or time. Call Us Immediately if you have abnormally heavy bleeding, severe pain, or other urgent problems. For after hours emergencies, please call 911. FeesPayment for office visits is encouraged at the time this service is provided. At the time of your initial visit for pregnancy, you will be given information regarding obstetrical coverage and fees. Noninsured charges should be paid at the time of your visit. InsuranceWe are a Medicare Participating Service. If you have insurance, including Medicare or Public Aid, please have your card available so we can copy it for our records. For patients with commercial insurance coming in for office visits or routine exams, you will be given a copy of your charge slip to submit to your insurance company. We will be happy to help you receive maximum insurance benefits; however, the agreement of the insurance company to pay medical benefits is a contract between you and your insurance company. Responsibility for payment is your obligation, regardless of insurance coverage. Payment for services is requested if your insurance has not responded within 45 days of the date of service.
